DIY French Manicure @ 7:13 AM
Something that I've been absolutely loving lately is Manicare's French Manicure Kit in Pink.

Try it out! I really wanted to get some french acrylics but unfortunately couldn't get them at the moment, so I decided to try these out- and I am just so impressed! I am starting to prefer this over acrylics as it looks much more natural and neat. It's really easy to fix up any chips that may occur and if you decide you want a change of colour, it's SO much less hassle to remove.

A bit of a Haul.. @ 2:22 AM
Hey Guys! So today I went out to buy some much needed groceries and instead ended up in Myer and David Jones browsing (and buying) makeup. That's normal, right?
Anyway, so I was really in need of some new foundation. As I am very pale with pink undertones in my skin, I find it really hard to get a correct match in colour without looking like I'm ill. To be honest, it's pretty sad how many brands don't really make the really light colours, especially when we break out or get any sort of discolouration it is extrememly more noticable than on the darker colours.
So after going around different counters,(one in particular tried to push me to buy they're lightest shade, which looked like a sandy colour, then suggested I buy some white airbrush foundation and mix it in. Thanks, but no thanks. It's an idea I've already thought of but it's not cheap or practical for everyday.)I went to the Bobbi Brown counter. After patiently waiting a good 30 minutes to get served, I ended up buying the Natural Finish Long Lasting Foundation in Alabaster. This is the fairest shade, and so far I'm seriously impressed.

Being that it is oil free I don't recommend this if you have normal-dry skin.
LOVES: SPF 15, OIL FREE, SEMI-MATTE FINISH
DISLIKES: $$$ it's expensive- but worth it.
I also picked up a Bobbi Brown Metallic Long-Wear Cream Shadow in Pink Oyster.

I was so blown away by this colour. I just loved it! It's such a girly pink colour that has a great shimmer to it. I always think a pale pink is very flattering when used as a shadow. You can build up the colour and use it as a one colour look, or add some other colours and blend to give a more dramatic look. I'll definitely do a tutorial using this soon!
I also bought Rimmel's I Heart Lasting Finish nail polish in Hot shot.

I am such a fan of matte colour nail polishes at the moment. I thought the colour is so pretty and bright that I had to get it. I'll let you know after about a week what I think about it.
I bought some other accessories and such but I'll do another blog on that later! xx

First Blog! @ 8:07 AM
Hey everyone! This is my first post on this blog and I am so excited to have finally started this! I've had many blogs over the years, but this is my first beauty blog. Being a makeup artist, I feel right at home here. So look forward to makeup reviews, tips and tricks, hauls, give-aways etc!
So I'm just going to get straight into it by doing a review on some products that I've recently purchased.
First up is Napoleon Perdis Auto Pilot Primer:

I love this product. It feels very refreshing on the face and is especially good if you have dry skin as it also hydrates. Once you've applied it to your face, I reccommend letting it dry for a couple of minutes, just to really let it do it's job. Remember it's a crime not to prime! lol. A quote from Napoleon himself.
Next up is Stila Illumination Tinted Moisturizer in Shade 01.

I bought this to use as a highlighter and to give me more of a glowy complexion. I kind of love/hate this product. It does the job it's supposed to do and looks very natural (no bulky bit of glitter just a sheer shimmer) however I do not like the scent at all for a beauty product. It reminds me of a sunscreen/rubbery sort of scent. I just don't like it.
And the final product is Revlon ColorStay Mineral Eye Shadow in Midnight Garnet 03.

When I saw this I was so excited because I love the colours. Very wearable colours for everyday and night. Unfortuantly the colours aren't as pigmented as I would desire. The come off very sheer and shimmery with not as much colour coming through. Will I throw it away? No, but it definitely is not my favourite by far.
Anyway, as it is almost 2 in the morning I must get to sleep! xx
